So I'm attempting to line some parts up for my turd car and can't get a response out of the few sponsors I have PM'd. Are we like their periods or something?

just go to their site and get their # or email and just use that.

We do not frequent the forum much to be honest. Easiest solution is always to email sales@importdpsspeedshop.com

Thanks
Rick

I should have checked dates... looking at tiny words on a Droid phone though or else I would be a little more resourceful.
Thanks for your time sir.

...me too. I have this condition that makes me spend every extra dime on my car. I could really use someone to talk to when I get the urge to spend...

I think I speak for most of the KA-T.org guys when I say I would rather spend a little more on a part thats coming from a sponsor than buy it from ebay. In the end I know they help keep our site alive.

Agreed! I'm having my buddy make me some vinyl KA-T.org stickers to rep this site! I've met a lot of cool people on here so I wanna show the people here in Buffalo NY where I got my support ;)

One other thing... maybe I'm alone on this one but, I don't own a pc. All of my research and shopping is done over my Droid phone.

Most websites are hard to navigate and make shopping an all day experience. Would be awesome if more sponsors had piston/rod combos and built head packages listed in their posts so people like me didn't have to waste mine or the sponsors time with repeated questions about the same stuff.
Example... this post probably took 5-10 minutes to complete. LoL

Not open 24hr and a 30 min drive from home. Praying for work that pays better though, maybe it will help out.

Phone was free buddy. Providers have to purge stock somehow. All I do is pay my phone bill. Having a phone is more necessary than a pc, customers have to be able to reach me for service calls.

simple phone with no data plan + ipod touch + cheap internet plan = phone and internet on the go and good internet at home.

Don't know why I'm even entertaining this but, being under contract doesn't allow me to change my situation much.

Point of the post being... If some of the sponsors would list "basic" combo's or packages in there sections it would be much more convenient for their customers as a whole. Even guys like me that only see a PC once or twice a month.

But you seem to be riding someone's nuts so I'm done wasting my time with you.
Much rather attempt to help a whiney customer or random KA-t user.

I agree with BubbaBlak on the piston and rod combo. Why the hell don't our sponsors have something like that you know? like a stage 1,2,3 rebuild kits with forged and cast aluminum pistons. They could make so much money on that, a rebuild kit that can be listed at XXX HP rating.

Piston and rod combos, brought to you by... one of our sponsors: http://realstreetperformance.com/store/ ... -block-35/

i would hate that. then you would get 40s driving around being like i got a stage 3 in here. i dont here it often but every now and then i hear someone say i got a stage 3 turbo in here.

i would much rather just put together my rebuild to get the parts i want for it.

Ok i was just using the "stage" as an example and it does sound stupid when people talk like that especially when they don't know *****t about motors. I'm just saying it would be cool if there was a kit available at a HP rating like summit does with the pistons. A real solid kit that can be proven and priced to sell just for the KA motors. Maybe a kit that came with some pistons designed for with standing a turbo and the issue with the ring lands that a lot of people seem to be having.

If I heard a group of 240 guys talking stage this stage that type of **** I would probably consider them to be retarded and vacate the area.
That's one reason I like our cars... getting results isn't hard but takes know-how. Not a rich dad and a buy it now button.
I just think since parts are pretty scarce for them, if they were to put it out there the way RSP did it may help out on both ends. We wouldn't spend our free-time at a keyboard when it's needed elsewhere and they may come across more potential customers.

You have a phone, so browse to the sponsor's website and find their number. I've browsed forums with a Droid and iPhone and it is not an easy task. Save yourself the headache (& finger cramps) by giving them a call.

I only 'wish' they had more specials. But I see them contributing on the forum so its all good!

I want a KA-T sticker too!!!!!! But I'm not turbo, yet :)
