Nice work, is this a graphics 3d program or an actual CAD program?
You planning to mount the FMIC off the factory rad mount locations?

Thanks man, the program i'm using is SketchUp 8, i can't afford autocad and yes. I'm planning on placing the intercooler where the stock radiator was located. right behind it is going to be a 1" thickness fan and then the mishimoto civic radiator right behind it. I'm looking for how to design the intake plenum.Jordan Gladman wrote:Nice work, is this a graphics 3d program or an actual CAD program?

Cant afford it?.. thats what Bittorrent is for
They cant expect you to pay $4000 for a 5 year old version of software for home use.

Just out of curiosity, did you model the car from scratch or find a 3d drawing online?

Go to demonoid.com and sign up...im IT as well and I never used bittorrent, I just relied on sites with downloads...i needed certain programs just for one use and signed up...it has saved my ass many of times...especially when i am doing sidejobs for clients and i need specific software to get the job done...I downloaded AllData with coverage up to 2010 for euro, asian, and domestic...Unbound Yuurei wrote:Lol i agree. i havent used bittorrent even though i'm an IT. i really need consider it. cough... lol neways thanks guysJordan Gladman wrote:Cant afford it?.. thats what Bittorrent is for

lol i have no idea how long it took me for the setup but having the dimensions helps hella lot! I got my intercooler from Mishimoto. Once i figures out the overall size of the intercooler, i made a rectangular box. (Basically, a wooden box and started carving away at it.)smbonn2005 wrote:Do I even wanna know how much time you have into that setup? I've spent a couple hours fiddling with SketchUp and I just finished an intercooler =) lol

i am running a civic radiator, and so are a few other people i can think of off the top of my head, they work fine if your not a drifto ***hotlavaflow wrote:That's some interesting stuff. Civic radiator? I work on a lot of Civic's those radiators are tiny. I would feel more comfortable with a larger rad esp for a turbo K (if that's what your installing).
