Man pair that with some STI injectors and z32 fuel filter from Rock Auto and you got a complete fuel upgrade for cheap.

What did you guys do as far as the wiring goes for the E2448 pump since the s14 harness won't fit on it? I popped the two wires out of the harness (the one already in the car) and it looks like I can connect them each directly to the two prongs sticking out on the pump. I was going to do this but I wasn't sure if the current would still flow on a connection that is fully submerged in gas. The harness looks like it protects the wiring so I don't want to run open connection in gas if it's not safe.

It'll work, just make sure you put something between the 2 prongs to keep them from ever touching.
when I installed this on a friends EK, I broke off a piece of plastic from an old connector and shoved it between the 2 prongs and ziptied the wires together to wedge the wires against the plastic to keep everything together.
So far so good.

Though the FP is suppose to come with a Connector in which you would just splice.

Not a fan of walbro, have had trouble in the past and switched to bosch years ago. Not saying all walbro are bad but read the link below. That is why they are on sale a lot.

It's a cheap and effective solution; you get what you pay for but so far I believe these pumps hold up fine.
