After a 10 year run...
My car is now sold (Deposit has been made from the future owner). It's be a nice 10 year run with the car and the KA. I hope the new buyer will take care of it like I did. I will keep on coming on the forum to help out. Who knows, I might end up with another project someday !!!

Hate to hear that.
However, you'll be back in a 240 eventually. They all come back. This I know.

It's never a good feeling selling a car you've had so long.

Re: After a 10 year run...
I can see myself in red's shoes in a year or more, i love my 240, ive done so much to it, and still do...the enjoyment i get out of it is almost priceless sometimes. Then there are days that i see the newer cars with comfort, ac and the technology... and i want to upgrade. Also the rent i pay just to have my 240 and tools garaged is another thing, the constant worry about theft etc...as weird as this may sound i think the ford focus ST would be a great replacement for me.
Good luck red, hope you move on to bigger and better things bro.

GL! I know how you feel!
I bought my S14 back in 2003 off my bro with 53k miles on it.
10 years later and it's still fun and a whole new car with the turbo mods and what not.
I do agree with some of the users here about looking at newer cars and looking at the traction controls, abs, auto climate control, and all kinds of nice stuff.
I am almost biting the bullet on a 2012-2013 Mustang Boss 302! 7500RPM factory redline and the car can HANDLE and 444HP on insta-tap! Oh man! I'm going to keep my car for a few more years (to soak up some of the expense tossed into it), and although I do enjoy it new cars are hella win too!

Re: After a 10 year run...
I live in a super small town and theft is a very rare thing and yet I worry about theft... I have been looking into a really good security system with gps tracking...over kill i know but I would lose my mind if someone did anything to my car let alone stole it....R34SR wrote:the constant worry about theft etc...

Yup. Pretty much my thoughts when I sold my S14. Plus I needed to pay for college. I went from an S14 to a Z32 to an Audi S4. Love my S4 but I'm still needing and wanting a new go fast project...
