wide band readings
Does anyone else wideband read 3dash at idle and cruising? The only time it drops back is when I give it throttle. It reads 11's in boost

0v's = 10.0
5v's = 19.98
--- = Out of operating range. Meaning it can be richer than 10.0 or leaner than 18.7. I would make sure it is not rich so you do not spin a bearing.

Re: wide band readings
I talked to Martin. It should be ok. My o2 bung isn't pointing my sensor up stream at all. If your car leans out all the way then then car wouldn't even stay running. Aem has instructions. My car reads fine when I give it gas and hits 12.5 and 11's in boost. I should be fine when I get the 02 bung done right it also show 14,15 when I first crank it, so I no my sensor isn't getting flow right

O heck yeah. Martin is grate and very patient. A professional and definitely a people person. If you want balls to the wall power, then go standalone. If you want a tune that's dead on just plug and play. Then Martin is the way to go.

Re: wide band readings
Hey guys I just read on an old form that the cruising afr will not read right if your factory o2 sensors aren't hooked up. Well I have both of mine out at the moment. Can someone chime in and tell me exactly what type of problems this will cause?
Re: wide band readings
Possibility although with no o2 even with o2 feedback turned off, it will run rich. Even your knock sensor needs to be connected even if knock feedback is turned off.

Re: wide band readings
I'm lost when it comes to this. I just realized my wideband is only 5inches back on the Dp and that's the o2 stock location. Also read the aem gauge info. I really don't know anything about the calibration abjustments for different fuels. I didn't know there was an adjustment screw
Re: wide band readings
The gauge will read --- but you should be able to see on the outer ring if it's rich or lean "out of range." If you are not using an AEM gauge you will be able to see if it swings back into range from rich or lean.
Make sure you completely disconnect the stock O2 not just leave it hanging. If you have the AEM hooked to the stock ECU you need to turn the screw in the back like the manual says.

Re: wide band readings
I just read up on spark plugs because mine still look brand new. The article says your running rich if your electrical is good and your plug look new
