Good day,
I have a set of kelford 260 degree cams shafts and I am trying to identify which is the intake and which is the exhaust.
One has L86-EX 2 holes.
One has L-50 with 1 hole
I assumed the EX cam was exhaust but currently the person I bought the motor from has the L86-EX camshaft on the intake side?
Any insight would be a great help
kelford intake/ex cam help!!
Re: kelford intake/ex cam help!!
the intake cam will have the dowel straight inline with the first lobe. On the exhaust, if the dowel is at 12'o clock the first lobe will be at 2'o clock ish

So it SEEMS like the orange is intake and green is exhaust on the kelfords, according to that info...
Alternately, you could always contact kelford...

Either way, the mfr should be able to answer for sure. Should be pretty easy to call/email them.
