Lowering Springs??? dah da daaaaaa!

Post by IlovemyKmotor »

okay for a daily driver would it be okay to just go with a really slight lowerering spring like .9 in the rear and 1.5 in the front on stock struts? Just to give it a little more aggressive look. Or do you think that would even so be to much stress on the shocks?

most people upgrade the shocks when doing springs. But, yes there will be more stress on the shocks.

i've heard from a few people that if you don't replace your stock shocks then they will blow within a few months. hope that helps.

chances are you struts are blow already might as well change them.

i was going to do the same but as i was taking out the old springs i found out the struts were gone and i have a 97, so i sucked it up and got agx's..

get a nice stiff spring and some agx's run the dampering on 3/6 or 4/8(rs*r race springs) and you will be very happy..

I don't think it is that. If it was not for the people who posts at least 5-10 times a day, the site would die like hybrid.ka. You never see posts from klatrl or any of the owners/mods.

Which IMO, not trying to start anything but, being a Mod/Admin myself. Your kind of no good if your never around you know? I would not mind dedicating sometime to KA-T to mod spam and other duties.

Agreed. This has been brought up a dozen times over the past couple of months. I'd love to mod here. This forum is quickly dying and on its way out. I've sent an email to ryan about this but never got a response. May have been the wrong address but who knows.

Something's got to be done. All it takes is a simple capchya code or verification email plus extra mods to keep the ish down.

Yea it blows they don't respond. This probably why I will never join another site. Just do what I do and meet people other ways.

Honestly I'd be willing to buy the rights to this site. There is so much information here and I'd hate to see fscking spambots from china taking it down. I wouldn't want to be anywhere else though. It just drives me nuts that Ryan doesn't do ish about it. It's like he never gets on here though that may be true.

I'm on here, you just probably don't see me logged in since I'm an admin :)

I think everyone would love to see a spam button in the overhaul

This is the only forum I visit on a regular basis and I really like it. Its interesting and kinda heart breaking at the same time watching KAs take off in popularity... our secret is getting out lol
