s13 coupe, +50mm rear overfender install tips?
I recently bought some +50mm Rear Overfenders for my s13 coupe.
They line up beautifully, but I am curious if anyone has experience with fitting and molding these to the quarter panel.
I've done some research, and found that the best and most common way to add rigidity to the panel, is to fill the inside with "Great Stuff, Expanding Foam".
I would imagine body filler would work to "mold" the panels to the surface.
Any insight?
Thanks!

hmm. Okay, rivets would work.
What about covering up the rivets, though? I don't really like working with bondo, plus it cracks.
Another solution I just found, is, 3M 8115 Panel Bonding Adhesive. Really strong stuff, should work just like rivets, without protruding through to the paint side,
Anyone heard of it?

Well what are you using your car for? If you're planning on tracking it or drifting, I'd recommend rivets, because they're easy to install and easy to take out, molded stuff is a hassle to repair when it cracks.
Also, make sure to cut the quarterpanels at least 3cm above the body line.

you could also use polyurethane... the black stuff that holds windows in! that stuff will hold anything and you can get it anywhere but getting if off would be a pain i say rivet that beast and make some small dimples with a drill so the rivets flit flush and do a little body work or just leave it! you didnt outbid me on ebay for those fenders did you???
