Re: KA?
We scheduled 3 new DVD projects last week but the KA-T motor build DVD has not been locked down yet. There is a shop that will be building a KA-T in a few months.Kamilitaryman wrote:Where is the KA24DET build DVD?????
These are just a FEW of the new titles that will be produced over the next few months
-LS1 Motor Build
-Turbo Motor Build
-2JZ Motor Build
-Engine Tuning DVD (Part #1)

Re: KA?
I would spend the extra $ to get a solid KA24DET build DvD. It would definately help out a bit. Given I always have the laptop in the work area lolDRIFTING.com wrote:We scheduled 3 new DVD projects last week but the KA-T motor build DVD has not been locked down yet. www.240sxtechdvds.org motor build DVD set so far is the best new version of KA24DET build.
as for KA24E, not so much. ...but, if you understand the KAE head inside and out, much the same process applies to the DOHC. A head is a head, how the timing and shimming is done may be different, but the same principal applies.
What I'm realizing the more I build my engine is the more its exactly the same as other engines. Sure some things have gotten better, like variable valve timing, and direct injection, but its all the same over-glorified lawnmower engine bs, lol.
Highly recommend 240sxtechdvds.org though. I have all of his DVD's and swear by them. You can also DL a FSM off his site. With those, you will be UN-stoppable.
either you
a) spend the time learning
or
b) get off this site, and get a shop to build it for you
cheap, fast, reliable...pick two

Been putting this off for a while, thinking I can do it all by myself, but that ^ convinced me. I'll be buying these DVDs asap.Walperstyle wrote:Highly recommend 240sxtechdvds.org though.
