OBD2 intake manifold picture

Post by plaza80 »

Does anyone have a picture of their OBD2 intake manifold or knows my question. I have a guy installing my motor for me but he says i'm missing a sensor on intake manifold. It is supposed to be located right on the #3 runner of the top portion of the manifold. I can clearly see that there are two threaded holes there that something can be screwed down to.

The thing is I bought a second intake manifold and it still doesn't have this sensor. So my question is does it really have a sensor there? There is a plug on the engine harness that we cannot find where it is supposed to plug into and it seems like it directs it right to the spot where the missing sensor is. My car cannot idle at the moment and runs really rough. All other sensors and vaccum lines are plugged but that.

I'll try to post a pic but my dam camera sucks right now.

He'll probably blow the motor, and then join the army of retards who hate on KA's for no good reason.

wow guys thanks for the fast response. How important is this sensor anyways? If I don't have it will it affect my idle or fuel delivery???

I got a 1998 all obd2 btw.

hummm if that is all then I'm not sure that is why my car cannot idle well at all. However by taking care of this issue I can eliminate some variables. I really hope this is why i'm having issues with the car.
