Q45 Throttle Body Question

Post by Saxy_S13 »

I went to my local Pull-a-Part this past weekend and pulled the throttle body off of a 1994 Q45 to use on the KA I'm building. I assume the heaping mass on the front is some sort of traction control option. My simple question is does this matter? Can I use it? Or do I throw it on EBay and buy a non TC throttle body?

So am I able to use this throttle body on the KA? Or is a non trac control a must?

Ditch the one you have or disect it. you have no need for the extra butterfly.
What plenum are you using?

OR you could still use it and have a pretty sweet TC setup if you run MegaSquirt and are good with electronics :)
