sway bar damage!?
sooo noticed a clunking sound and knew right away...but didnt expect this my bolt holdin bracket was gone as well as the threads for it!??? any ideas on how to fix???
Re: sway bar damage!?
I cannot see how this is related to the kat, it sounds like your insanely awesome ride height has hindered your cars ability to travel
go to a junkyard and cut it out of another car, weld it in.

isnt that a good way to weaken and tweak my frame structure though...at least thats what ive read and been told

Could just weld another stud on there right? Seems like the easiest option. That's what I would do at least; and then just cleanup around the weld so the bracket sits flat against the frame.

Re: sway bar damage!?
tried the drill and tap method... epic fail lol...lasted a day...the metal isnt very thick at least not enough to hold very many threads for the bolt...

What kind of end links are on that sway bar? are they the solid spherical ball joint type or are they the bushing type like the OEM style?

they're the oem style
Re: sway bar damage!?
hmm, does the sway bar bracket on that side line up well otherwise?
I know the threaded hole is a lot larger now, but still think welding a stud in its place could work. Maybe patch the hole first, then have a stud welded in?
