I want to put a OEM spec turbo kit on my US Spec KA24DE. I know outside the US the turbo cars were a SR20DET. I also understand the piping and hardware for the SR20DET is bolt-on and interchange aside from the turbo manifold.
I have spec'd the following so far:
Generic Intercooler.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00CJ6J1M6/re ... 55XVNTJ2LJ
ISR Turbo Manifold (bottom mount)
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01FXQG01S/re ... A03HRUPNJ6
S15 OEM Turbo
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0031152SU/re ... TLTW2TBXZH
550cc Injectors
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B009PJLLHS/re ... QOSYWRTB0S
...not really sure I need 550cc. I was considering using 440cc.
Also, I was planning on getting a tune put on my standard ECU. Questions? What other things do I need to be thinking about with regard to the exhaust? I currently have a DC SPorts header and I nice completed exhaust. I know the header won't be used. Anything else? Is there any additional hardware needed?
Intake side. What kind of piping will I need to complete that circuit? Is there some OE parts that I can get for that?
Turbo lines. Oil line? From where? To where? Presumably the oil pan. Is there an OE oil pan I can source? Water lines? From where? To where?
I want this turbo add-on to be simple and reliable to build and maintain. I am not worried too much about peak power. Just going for a nice sensible street build.
Is there any further guidance you guys can offer as I continue my parts scrounge? Thanks in advance!
