Unfortunately the Cobra MAF is plastic as well. I'll just be at 9-10psi after ebc though, so shouldn't have much trouble until I build an engine, hopefully.

I've pressure tested my MAF past 25psi without problems after I used window weld on it. Also, I haven't had any couplers pop off while driving since I've been doing the pressure testing. It saves a lot of hassle in the long run.

Anyway, here's a few pics of the current blow through setup.

Runs perfect without any fuel adjustment.

Damn, i heard it was bad to go above 7psi cause of some other bla bla **** i cant remember. Does anyone else test there's up to the boost that they run at WOT? Cause obviously id like to leak test for the pressure its going to see if it dosnt harm anything.

Ive been running my car for over 2 years now with blow through set-up. Pushing 17 psi daily and I haven't popped a coupler once.

This might seem like a crazy question, what brand or type of hairspray do u guys use ? i dont use hairspray so i have no clue about it. What is another alternative to hair spray ? can i use window weld to help hold the piping unto the maf ??

Well, I basically found the hose ID and got some from autozone which will work fine with Power Steering Fluid. Then I just removed the stock ones and popped the new ones on and routed them to the location I wanted it to be.

Are you guys using hairspray on the MAF then connecting the coupler and tighten the clamp?? :!: So its sticky icky is making the coupler hold better against the MAFs plastic shell?

Yes. When drying hairspray ends up being like a glue/sealant combo.

Mount it to your pre turbo intake pipe.

For the guys spraying hair spray on their IC connections, dont get any on your MAF!

i have a question/issue. i set my car up in the blow-through manner. only problem is (and id like to know if anyone had the same issue) i have large cams (BC 272 272) they are dialed in with the jwt cam gears etc. Problem: the car wont stay idleing for more than 10-15 seconds then she dies. if i disconnect the Ic piping she runs like n.a.
is it possible that because of the exhaust pulses and turbo pulses the maf gets confussed?

How close are your bends to the maf?

It could be possible that you are too close, and when you pull off the cold pipe before the maf you are no longer getting any air disturbance since the bend cannot affect it anymore.

Though you could've found out by clicking a page or 2 back, and looking at where the maf is...

It is where you put the maf in the intercooler piping, rather than on the inlet of the turbo. Usually, when its on the turbo it is sucking the air through the maf, hince, pull through. When it is on the intercooler piping, you are essentially pushing or "blowing" air through the maf when under boost.

i have about 5-6 inches infront and after the maf. the only thing i can think of is the pulses of air, its not a constant air flow? today ill try pre turbo.
