I really like the looks of this one.

http://www.cxracing.com/mm5/merchant.mv ... Code=240SX

And this is a much better looking cast manifold...

placement of the turbo is certainly better than previous cheap-o manifolds that have been out for years...but still has the thin walled tubing that isn't as durable as other manifolds out there...but I guess you get what you pay for :)

Beyond that...when's the last time these companies have looked at the KA exhaust ports...they are certainly not round!

i think kfred still has an old ETD manifold. thats a good middle of the road mani. especially when using 5 bolt. 4 bolts a lil tight. it sucks how theres such a big gap...youve gott stuff like jgs at 420$ and then it jumps to like SLS at 700$ and then of course theres these brands where your kind of taking a chance.

like Ryan said, its flow design is descent, the runners are not equal length so efficiency will suffer, that tubing is very thin metal and i would not attempt pushing 500 hp from that manifold like their site says it can handle...
That cast will out live your car but its efficiency is a joke for sure... And the design is just horrible..
Go with that top one and hope it stays together... The thing prob weighs 2 lbs...

Maybe an obx. I think I will need a 44-46mm gate with 30+psi on a 6262. It says it's made of thicker pipe.

i have an obx setup, it's definitely thicker tubing than the cx/ss stuff, and i love how low the turbo sits on it.

I no longer have a ka actually in a car. Do the 2 ka's sitting in my garage qualify me to be on this sight?

How much for the mani? I bought a holset HX40 pro for $200 from a friend and just ordered a BEP T3 .70ar turbine housing today. I still nees a mani though. The turbo better sit low on the mani or I won't be able to shut the hood with this big ass holset compressor cover.

this is the turbo I got except it has a BEP T3 vband outlet turbin housing....

This new cx racing manifold sucks terribly ! I bought one and the wastegate tube blew right off ....welded it back on and one of the runners cracked . this mani will not hold 400hp let alone 500-600hp . I called kevin at cx racing and he said he would replace it for 70 bucks . so i chanced it again ......the new mani cracked in 2 months with 15-20psi . lasted maybe 1000miles total . The runners were not even welded in the right position ,the runner was covering a little bit of the port on the exhaust flange causing a restriction . So all in all 2 new style manifolds from cxracing broke with very little abuse . I called cx racing back after i went through 2 mani's ,and he said it has to be installation error . I was like WHAT!!!!! how do you install a mani wrong FML...... The bastard told me to f*** off . I was so amazed and will never do business with cx ever again .

I find it humorous that you were optimistic about a manifold from a company that sells cheap and poor quality material parts.
