I just wanted to update this thread. ARP does make a "new" KA head stud and the box is labeled as such. I just got mine a few weeks ago, sadly the guy at the machine shop took the instructions paper out of the box... we had another box of the older style saturn main studs laying around so I followed that torque spec for those. Surprisingly, the newer style said to torque it to 70ft lbs. I think maybe this weekend I'll pull my valve cover and retorque the head studs. I've only put 50 miles on this engine and it's held fine but once I get back from a 1000 mile trip here in a couple weeks I plan on pushing 20psi through it.
The older saturn studs just say "ARP" on the top, the new KA studs say "ARP 2000"
You can download the product sheet from ARP, wish I would have done this before I put everything together.

Re: ARP head stud questions
Definitely go with what the instructions in the box say, but when I did mine it was a 2-step process like some others 30 ft lbs then a 60-65 ft lbs, then rechecking the torque after the engine has gotten to operating temps after installing, and also rechecking them after 500 miles.
