Stock rod numbering
I'm working with 7 good pistons and rod setups, and I'm currently a little confused on the numbering. I have 2 sets, both with rod numbers 1-4, however one is bent/cracked ringlands. Is there any real significance with the numbers? Basically I want to run the 4 best ones, which would mean I would have rods numbered 1, 2, 2, 4. The big end caps match the rods they came with however. Anyone see an issue with that?
Re: Stock rod numbering
Should be no issues? If weigh the same.

do you not have the internet? you can wait for days for a response or find an answer in less than 5 minutes.
the number correlates to size. the oem bearings are numbered too.

what sdaigle said - check the FSM - http://www.nicoclub.com/FSM/240sx/1991- ... ral/EM.pdf Specifically the piston grade info is on page 36.
