If you can get your hands on a good Z32 tranny. It should hold up well. I broke a 3rd gear fork on my first Z32 tranny at over 700whp. My replacement tranny shifts alot better and gives me hope that it may hold up better. Will have to report back to you on that one.

Please tell me why? Z33 trannies are a complete joke. Are they strong, yea sure the later models are, The gearing is terrible for a high power KA motor. If you want a good tranny go with a Magnum T56 Tranny. That will be my next swap if I find myself killing Z32 trannies. But time will tell. Z33 tranny gearing is horrific to be called a 6 speed. Plus you have to figure out a way to make speedo work properly.

The overall gearing of a z33 is basically the same as a ka/sr/rb20. Just change the final drive to a lower gear, like a q45 gearset. I have an adapter plate waiting for my ka and there are quite a few people who love it on their ka, like Chris Forsberg. My buddy has a 1jz s13 with z33 trans and stock final, isnt bad at all the drift or drift with. For the speedo you need a gauge that is gps or gets a reading from driveshaft or abs diff with a converter box.

I would take a z33 trans over a t56 any day, ive seen far more t56 break with low power and the cost is outrageous.

You didn't read my msg closely. I said a mangnum T56. This tranny comes in latest viper,
Corvette I believe and few others. It's completely different from the old run of the mill t56 & a lot more money. The z33 tranny might alright for lower powered cars but 700+ WHP. I don't think so. I'm currrntly running a 3.69 final driver with my z32 and it's about as perfect as you can get with out completely over loading a 4 banger out of boost. The Z33 gearing is basically taking 5th and splitting it in half just making and extra shift without much of a benefit. Unless you just want a car to say I have a 6 speed this tranny is worthless when racing. Now if it has a real double over drive like the t56 now that's worth a swap.
That's
Trannn

For the z33 diff to work you'll need a 2004-2007 Pathfinder 2wd diff ring and pinion (3.133) and big power.
