JWT adjustable sprockets and BC version 2 cams

Post by scoobydo »

Hi, recently had to take the cams out for headgasket tighten. Anyway during this I noticed the van has JWT adjustable sprockets and BC version 2 cams but was set up on the default slots that appear to have a lot of lash which I would imagine is not ideal. The slots are not worn. No such backlash is evident if using the offset holes.Anyone got any advice or used this combo what offsets did you use?

Thanks

With any aftermarket cam setup, you really need to degree the cams using a dial gauge and degree wheel.
It's tedious, but not all that difficult.
