Hello, Im new to this forum and ka24det and turbos I had s13 hatch with SR20 AND I BLEW IT Now I own s13 coupe with oem sil front triple projector headlights, megan street coilovers 17' enkei rims everything else is stock besides stereo and speakers. Today I just droped my spare ka24de block at machine shop for hot tank bore hone etc. The owner of the machine shop said that crankshaft is weak in KA block, true or false??
I'm looking to get remanufactured crankshaft from Autozone it comes with main bearings, how good are they? Im also getting eagle rods, wiseco 9:5:1 pistons 0.20 over, FRSport timing kit, new oil squerters, freeze plugs .
And machine shop is going to balance everything crank rods pistons flywheel. The head is gonna get some port and polish, JWT cams and cam gears, BC srpings retainers etc. After im done with my longblock I will pull my old ka with 250000 miles out and drop brand new ka with a not cheap clutch in and drive it NA untill I save up money for Xsesive turbo mani and downpipe, Xsesive intake mani, GT3071r AEMEMS, 740 nismo injectors Mishimoto radiator with dual fans, walbro fuel pump, AEM fpr. My intentions with this is a build relibile clean daily driver with PS,AC and Im shooting for 400hp daily and 500+ on drag strip. Any sujestions? Coments? Critics r welcome too And Im sorry for my spelling I came to US from another country.

Welcome. I just saw a maroon 13 with gun metal rims in Merritt Island off of Courtenay. Any idea?

Only import dps destroyed a crank. Revved to 10K and it snapped. How much did you get the crank for? I am hesitant for reman'd cranks. If the work is not done precisely, you can have different heights on the rods. I would rather pull one from a motor in the junk.

I picked up from a guy for $50. it still in box he quit his project. Is there is the way to check it if its even? my machine shop guy micro scoped or whatever and confirmed that mains are +25 and rods +50. All turbo parts that i had i got rid off with a sr swap. I only got greddy knock off bow manual boost controller. I have 240sx s13 fenders with a bumper extensions, shark nose bumper with foam, whole popup HL assy with motors and all.
Is there is cheaper but good quality turbo manifolds besides $900 ones? I want to clear PS and AC thogh. Bolt on downpipes that clears it all?

I am interested in the bumper extension on the driver side. I need this so I can put on my pig nose lip.
As for mani/dp, I could not tell you the least, cause I have an eBay mani that was modded and I made my own down pipe.
