After clicking on the thumbnail and the new page comes up you have to click on the picture....then you may have to "zoom" on the picture after that. I think it is because it is quite large.

Numbers are 360rwhp 353ftlb

If you can work on your own car and don't waste money on stupid over priced stuff. You should in no way spend over 12k

Those are really nice numbers for 17psi on a 50 trim, looks like it's getting a little lean there up top though. Do you have a dyno chart based on RPM instead of MPH?

I don't have one based on RPM...I wish I did. I can tell you that we let off around 7k

Just to give an idea my engine alone was about $5k for parts, machining, and labor for building it.

I think you missunderstood (sp?) me. The $5k was for the block and head. After that I had to buy ALL of my turbo stuff, my AEM computer, and tuning. It get's expensive really quick

what do you have 5k wrapped up in? i predict my engine will start coming apart around 750whp and i spent 2k, and its a full build

5k for parts, machine work, and build labor. I don't have the tools to build my engine myself. My rods and pistons alone were around $1000, cams around $700, valves, springs, seats around $550 Dealer cost. That right there is $2250 just to start.

I don't know how you can build a very reliable 750hp engine when quality parts cost more than you paid for your whole engine build....maybe you have great hook-ups on parts

ok.......what about the rest of the "full build" where are all the head parts? I don't think i would attempt anywhere near 750 on eagle rods. If memory serves me, eagle rods for the KA are rated around 400hp?

My rod are rated at 800hp...they are not going to fail anytime soon :D

My point is if you want a really strong engine parts are going to cost unless you find people willing to sell great parts for less than the manufacturer is willing to sell them. Still expensive though.

I hope your engine is as strong as you think. I hate hearing about people putting money and time into engine only to have them fail.

Eagle rates their KA rods at 900hp. But no one has ever had an eagle rod failure so I tend to assume that they're fairly strong. Granted they're not pauter but they are pretty damn good.

well i'll be having a friend help me with the labor so all i have to buy is the parts... and i changed from goin with 550cc injectors to probably 740cc maybe somewhere in the 800 range but most likely cus i can get a good deal on some of these from the shop my friend works at... they overstocked a few and a looking to get rid of them. other than that 50 trim t3/04E turbo and most likely goin with a .63 AR then fuel pump upgrades AEM Fuel management probably will get some sort of boost controller and turbo timer cus i'm lazy and all the internals. CP pistons either 9 :1 or 8.5:1 haven't decided yet. and most likely eagle rods. i'm happy with 350whp so i dont exactly need anything rated for 800hp.

and i wont be raising the boost past like 18psi which should put me around 350whp. probably a little above it... since i plan on auto-Xing and wont need 500whp or anything like that

Cool...I thought one of the sponsors on here said they were rated lower....hence why I said "If memory serves me". Thats good to know they are rated that high.

Sounds like a good plan. Since you plan on doing auto-X I think the 9:1 would work good.
