Dyno results 8-17-09 50 trim - 369 whp

Post by Berserker »

Here it is a little disappointed compared to my first dyno try making 402 wtq.
But made 369 was told was peak whp and around 360 wtq @ 17 psi. Also my psi went up and down caus it developed a exhaust leak before turbo(hate tail Wastegate)

It was also a Dyno Pack.

psi moves up and down caus of that damn leak. He also lowered the psi abit then last time at dyno caus it was spiking up to 20 psi...

Well end results will show when I go to the track on sunday.

Stock s14 cams FTL! After 5700rpms your torque curve says F-it i'm out lol.

Power looks good for your setup though. Your numbers would look alot better if you weren't having boost issues, becuase torque would peak closer to 5000rpms.

Car should move pretty good, i bet it feels great on the street. Looking at your dyno i'd shift out of 1st at 6500rpms, then the 2nd, 3rd, 4th at 6000rpms. I think you are better off switching to 5th at 6k than trying to wind out 4th at the end of the track.

Be sure and post results

JWT ecu + AFC neo for fine tuning
95lb inj.
Running E85
Stock Block

Hmm wut else..Yeah Kfred I need cams pretty bad but not this season, next summer.
And yeah going to track this sunday il for sure post up the results, then ima take off my turbo and mani and fix the wastegate issue, I swear I can not ever get my car to be 100% running good.
Just today I was taking off my oil pan caus I leak out alot of oil, The felpro gasket just not working out, So I did RTV liquid gasket...And tomorrow I see a coolant leak from the top pulley that has the fan on...Its killing me....

Also Im thinking of Advancing the timing at the track maybe 3-4 degrees to see a diff lol?

I'm pretty sure he has a jgs log manifold. Stock cams and e85 = rapid spool, my car felt alot stronger especially in the 3-4k range on e85.

I plan on doing a setup simillar to this car.

Wondering how spoolup would be effected if this car was running only 93 octane istead of E85

Would you rather for me to create a new thread asking this question? about this guys specific setup?

Also, to the original poster, with your 50 trim are you running the .48 or .63 a/r backhousing?

thanks

deffenatly like this setup, im guna be running 16psi with a 50 trim soon but not sure on which exhaust housing to use though. its guna be a drift setup so i want a fast spool. im not sure about 16psi though, might go to 14maybe instead
