Frankie, that's what my laptop is for (for switching from a "E85" map to a "gasoline" map in Nistune)...I've never been too crazy about about water/meth injection systems which I would have to rely on another pump/resevoir, but it seems that there are more and more failsafes available now...idk - maybe i need to warm up to them more.

For a car with a nice sized intercooler, absolutely not. E85 is a great fuel and will support huge amounts of power safely, more than pump + water/meth.

Now, a supercharged car with no intercooler is a much harder decision. Water injection will cool the charge better than e85. Which one is better for this application? Thats a good question lol. I, like eviltom, don't like the fact that water/meth is a secondary system which gives more chances for failure.

Ok I understand the physical difference between the turbo and supercharger... And I know both introduce mad amounts of air into the motor but why are they so different when it comes to using the right type or mix of fuel... ??

Basically just in this case there is no intercooler on it.

yes, when you live far enough away from a e85 station that it is not worth the hastle, and he isnt going to be making 700hp on that supercarger, i would go meth all the way for sure, infact, when i get paid here in 2-3 days im going to be getting my meth kit from aem and run that on 92 sure it isnt e85, but if he were to travle to were there is no e85, all he would have to do is throw some windsheild washer fluid in and be good to go, so yea, i think meth is the way to go for him, and as mentioned by kred its cooling proporties are AWSOME and being as he is running a supercharger with no intercooler there is massive amounts of heat

Damn, 35mph is slow! :D

Wanted to share this link with everyone...I will be selling supercharger adapter kits and put together a little microsite recently: http://www.ka24der.com

Check it out! I still need to add a full kit photo and remaining details/resources but it's mostly finished.

Yes

When did Ryan sell this car to the current owner? I love the way this car was built, but do want to make sure the nico sale thread is legit.
