What made ya go with the z31 turbo? I made 20ftlbs more torque and the same power with my SR20 T25 at 7psi
I guess now you have an easy route to use a 3071 or HX/HY35.
Looks like a smooth dyno plot.

That is an awesome powerband.
Must feel amazing on the streets.

Did you make those number on a stock block and pump gas?

Yes to both, it did taper up top but made good torque down low... felt like driving a V8 that got 30mpg. I kind of miss the simplicity of that setup.

I can safely say another 10~20 ft lbs are easily accessible with removing some fuel and upping the timing some, but knowing the actual goal of this tune and known weak ring lands I opted for a large safety net. And almost nailed the power level pre dyno. I guessed 220.
very strong on the street.

whore those event vids..

That T3 is good to around 250Hp. I had the same turbo on a Dodge Daytona back in the day. Same turbo. I would go with this turbo aver the T25 any day of the week. T25 chokes power on top end..

It is a great looking dyno. Power looks very smooth. You still have the same turbo setup?

Re: new kat dyno z31 turbo 8psi
I got a new set up not, the old one detonated a piston after 1.5 years... I overheated the motor hot lapping at the track.
New engine is built, pretty much the same everywhere else, excepts I went with a gt3076r.
I made 280/270 on a mustang dyno at 13-14 psi

Re: new kat dyno z31 turbo 8psi
How did you make less than 300 hp or trq with a built motor?!?! I have a stock motor with a gt3076 and made 240/250 on 12psi and my motor has low compression in the #3

Because forged internals=lower compression ratio.
Low boost, over safe tune. Rich and retarded
