AEM EMS - fixing idle..timing sync done, car dies at a stop
well ive got my car running fine off my old tune, but from where i had to reset the timing sync, it threw my idle off. Now whenever I'm driving and come to a stop, my idle drops down and the car dies..it never catches itself at 750rpm like it did before on THE SAME TUNE. what should i tinker with in the AEM to get the rpm's to rest at the normal 750rpm idle when i'm letting off the gas coming to a stop? this is annoying as hell because i have to use the brakes to come to almost a stop then switch to the e-brake while keeping my foot on the gas to keep the car from dieing out. Thanks in advance guys!!

Try setting your idle a little higher, I use 900rpm. And in the idle section set the hi idle rpm to 100rpm and the time to 0.5seconds so when you clutch in it will hold the rpm a little higher so it dosnt stall out. Set up yoour idle% graph first as thats the most important one. Try to get the idle% as close to 0 as possible. If its lean whenit stalls, then close the motor more int he lower rpm, if its rich as hell, open it some more.

i use 900 too. but if you changed your timing and it changed you idle then change your timing to what it was reading before. should be around 15-20 degrees at idle, well i think thats what mine is. when idling what is your idle learned value? i think the table to adjust is called idle % vs target table. pretty much what kinds blend said.
