retarding your timing is needed. stock ecu + SAFC will only go so far and you can only retard the base timing so far until driveability nearly sucks. JWT ecu does it all for you so you never have to worry about it. the JWT 50lb/cobra mafs ecu typically runs 10.8:1-11.3:1 afrs straight out of the box where the 72lb/cobra mafs ecu usually runs 11.8:1-12.3:1 afr range.
they also have programs based on Z32 mafs as well and the lightning mafs which will receive feedback soon.

the ecu has no clue what boost you are running. instead it measures the amount of air entering the motor and adjusts fueling/timing accordingly.ImPLiCiTS14 wrote:im thinking 50lb with z maf so it changes your on boost timing than right? can mulitple maps be used like the safc2?
they can do secondary programs but generally its used for stuff like nitrous or 2 step.
what would u need a second map for?
