Nissan on Nissan Crime

Post by R@mon »

Ran a new GTR tonight. According to the owner the car was worked on by SP eng. out of California and its ran a best of 10.7@134. Race was for $500. My friend Damian fronted the money cuz im a broke ass nig. He did however shoot me a rather nice commission after the race! TD Autowerkes

Hell yeah man. Your car is so BA. After the race you should have pulled up next to him and told him that he should have bought an ls1. That would have been classic.

More like 'should have bought a ZR1.' Probably still would've lost. Not really into 240s but your car is sick

it sounded like someone went before 3?? Granted that if that what the GTR was able to do at good rpms and WOT, it wouldn't matter. I'd like to see them paired up again at the 1/4 mile.

nice pull. Did he bet against you without knowing your car or whp? I'm guessing he didn't know the power/weight ratio or simply had no idea what you're really running...

lol. great win

I don't question R@mon's car, I just thought GT-Rs were heavy cars. Obviously the owner of the GT-R had no idea what he was in for.

I believe that gtr traps 129mph not 134. Your car is pretty nasty .

Puppy kicker!!

And he said it's run a best of 10.7 @ 134...meaning it's best pass...meaning it may not run that every single time it runs...

We get that you like v8s man, enough. Consistancy and # of cylinders have no corrolation. I hope that v8 gt500 doesn't consistantly run 11.90's with 129mph traps.

I'm not going to comment on Ramon's car because it speaks for itself . I would like to see some beefy axles under it and a clean 1/4mile pass though.

Other gtr's with the same mods are traping125-129 with the 129 being on the highend in good air(-da). I highly doubt he ever trapped 5mph higher then others with the same mods.Thats not even considering running out of fuel at those hp levels. The vid i posted was suppose to have been after he raced the 240sx to see what he could do. So i assume this is his REAL best trap.

Agreed. I think it has more to do with consistenlty launching, shifting, and having traction.

Since when did this site become the *>2.4L site?

...

Wish I could watch the runs r@mon, but I gather it was pretty awesome.[/u]

this is a beautiful video that i can watch over and over and over. its funny how people underestimate the power of a properly built car from the 90's with 4 cylinders.
