s14 vs gsr hatch

Post by s-14 »

LOL Well I just wanted to post up my before and after haha

as some of you know I have a built block with 8:5.1 pistons I have not gotten the chance to install my turbo yet but i wanted to see how far I would lose before I do reinstall my turbo. So We went out and decided to do a run from 50mph 3rd gear... I lost by probably 10 car lengths or more LMAO!! its all good though We have it on video haha So I will probably put on my turbo sometime when i have time and see how far he loses xD the last time he went to the track he ran a good 14.4 all day.

Well I suppose its because where i live the octane level is pretty low 91 and my car is a daily so I want it to be safe and reliable without having to go e85 or using racegas etc on a decent amount of boost, going high compression on a boosted motor would be a little bit too crazy for me. Also I like how the SR rumbles on low rpms So Im assuming since my block is bored .020 i have 8.5:1 pis and 2.4L engine soon to be on boost that my car will make an sr sound like a little sissy 8) I dont know if its gonna work out like im thinking lol but it'll work out good.
