just some fun crusing to a meet ive got the fastest car

Post by ViperGT »

so were cruiseing home from a meet with 14 plus cars near knotts berry farm and on the way out we blocked the freeway and slowed it all down but it wasnt too coordinated, so before we left for home we discussed our plan and such, and on the 91 freeway west at about 9pm all my buddies covered all lanes and brought traffic to a stop, (i had dreamed about this since i was 14 and saw street bikes do it) and then i busted a couple donuts and then quickly setup a drag with 2 of the evos, i took off on them pretty good then kept distance above 100, got to coming around a corner about maxed out and it was sooo scketchy, and we both backed off, then we met near the long beach airport in a huge parking lot to do some more driffting, and then stood around and talked, aparently the evo clostest to me when we were going around the corner was doing 145 which amazes me, the guy behind him (quite far) said he was doing 135, i just cant belive my car could handle it, even the evo guy said he started to feel a bit of a slide around the corner and my little 510 just stayed planted even without a front bar, but i really need to calm down haha i will post the video of the donuts if i can get it.

That is pretty good for it to feel like that. Around 130, I start to feel sketchy. Hopefully you get the video.

Just recently a guy with all his motorcycle buddies stopped traffic so that he could propose. He got arrested...

Where's the video?
My wife "haven't you spent enough time and money on that car yet?" my answer "no"

Biggest douchebag move ever. Like emotactical said, it's a shame it didn't end with an arrest. It's ignorant and dangerous, and gives us all a bad name. I'm not against street racing when it's done away from other cars, but there's nothing safe about bringing a highway to a standstill because you feel like it. Morons, every last one of ya.

Hate to be a jerk (not really), but come on, man. Don't make MORE traffic in LA just because you were "just havin some fun."

I've seen a couple of nice S Chassis cars rolling on the 91, I'm guessing you're probably one of them. By all means, have fun, find races, but don't do it where it puts other people in danger. Or creates potentially HOURS OF TRAFFIC for all the other people on the road. This is exactly the kind of selfish attitude that makes me hate "LA people." The roads aren't just there for you (or me, or my group of friends).

While I agree that this isn't something we encourage in our community, we didn't need to bring up a 4 month old thread to tell the guy off.
