My Kouki's JGS kit and more.

Post by Your Mom »

I bought Joshds25's kit. You can tell it was hardly used. After the usual post install problems, the car is running good, and ready for lots of tuning.

Intercooler hangs down, not for long. i have a jdm bumper on the way and a lip.

Not one dent, knock on wood.

beautiful, cept that damn red wire. flexloom is coming.

I have pipe, all i need is a coupler for the filter on the turbo.

The aem map sensor screwed right in to this vacuum block that comes with the kit. Thought that was awesome.
Image
This turned out pretty nice, used existing screws to hold the tray down, and ran the 0/1 gauge down the frame rail under that car, and up through an existing gromment in the trunk. like it was supposed to be there. Sucks for dragging though.

yeah coupler is no big deal.

No problems with the kit, only getting the aem to work correctly. stupid settings.

The dvd is ok, your southern accent is pretty funny. It might be helpful for other people that don't remove the motor to see how to get the oil pan off.

it's gonna look good with the aftermarket bumper so you won't have the intercooler sticking out of the bottom.

It's not that bad to do without pulling the engine. That's how it was done on his. It's just like a little game of chess you just have to know which piece to move first.

with air tools its nothing, remove sway bar, and just unbolt the tension arms, then remove engine mount bolts, jack engine up by the transmission, unbolt subframe, the passenger side falls down farther cause of the steering linkage but i got the pan off without take it off. pretty easy.

That does sound pretty easy, it was easier for me, because i had to replace the front and rear main seals, replaced clutch, oil pan, etc. And doing that suff under and inside the engine bay just sux!!!

A lift would help a ton though
