My S14 in Chicago

Post by cisco240 »

So I went up to the Nightshift/HIN show in Chicago last month but somehow ended up w/o taking any pics of my car. To my surprise I found pics of it on the HIN website & carandmodel.com site as well. What do you guys think?

This in on the HIN website.

The rest of the pics are copyrighted, so I'm just gonna put the link here:

My 240 is in in the "Mike's Top 40 Favorites" album

If you check out the "Car Show" album there's a couple of pics of my car on the 1st page.

This is soo cool.

What do you guys think?

Yeah, I know what you mean, but I wanted to place it in a different spot (not the usual locations).
As for HRT, Steve and I worked something out. Hopefully he appreciates the publicity.

Thanks. Yeah, the wheels really do make the car stand out. Get this, at the show, they end up putting a clean G35 right behind my car (you can see a little of it in the pic). W/ the exact same wheels (same size in front & back) but different tires. His looked more like 18"s and it made mine look like a set of dubs

Finally, my lifes' goal has been accomplished

I'm just messing w/ ya. Thank you. My goal was to build a car that was more than a "1 trick pony". I wanted it to have show appeal, performance to back up the looks, and a of course an I.C.E system to round out the car.
I do use it as my dd  and along w/ attending car shows, I take it to the track for some 1/4 fun. Who knows, I might even start drifting this thing (not sure yet, the body work wasn't cheap  )
At the end of the day, it's like, what's the point of having this and spending a bunch of $$$ on it if you're not gonna actually enjoy it. I'm glad that other people appreciate and like what I did w/ my 240.

Yeah, I know what you mean. After all I saw it when all the body work was completed, I was like, "well, guess I wont be drifting that thing, hey  , maybe I could buy another and drift that one :D ". Weird thing is, the wife actually told me to get another 240 so I wouldn't drive this one soo much  .

It's an Origin Lab fender. I had it molded in. People that don't know much about 240s just think the car came like that.
