I cut it real slow with an exacto knife and a new blade.

I thought about the ducting but I have an aluminum channel at the top of the intercooler to mount it to the car and the intercooler itself is tall so there isnt much room at the top or sides really. I might try something later if Im not too lazy. Temps went down regardless.

My update: I finished cutting my bumper just like the picture above and went for a long ride. Temps previously would sit right at 80*c while cruising, now with the cut-out fall to 70*c and sit there. I'm sure it would go lower if there was no thermostat, but I wouldn't want it any lower.

setup:
Koyo
billion thermo
upper, lower, and side ducting
cut-out is also ducted

oil-cooler install to come

Sorry didn't mean to whore up your thread with useful info.

I'll probably make a thread once I install the oil cooler, as someone else requested.
