I'm using a MSD 2step set at 5800rpm which connects to the 6al box.jwrose wrote:+1 for the clean coupe, that thing is sharp...

And to activate it I have one of those trans brake mushroom switches, just hold the botton down, push pedal to the floor, drop clutch and release the botton, simply and fun.

4inch turbo inlet from racecarparts.com I believe?Ihiryu wrote:that's one giant piece of pipe for your turbo, what is the OD for that piece of pipe?
Did you steal it from the underground fuel line from alaska? Sheesh.
Anyway looks nice, no offense, i'm not diggin the holes, but very nice setup!
I have been kicking around the idea of ditching the holes and cutting a section out like Nissanfanatic, Kingsblend.......

just cut the whole front part off. thats all, no funky holes, lots of fresh air to the core.
BTW, adding a koyo rad would finish off the engine bay real nice.

I thought the current brass Koyo would suffice my NA needs years ago, I really didn't I needed anything more, but I was wrong.

Basically a blow-through style setup allows you to run a non-recirculated bov without stalling, whereas a pull through style setup may stall when the bov open to release positive pressure during shifts.Crash33 wrote:Really clean setup man love it but I too was wondering how you you did the whole blow through z32 maf because like they said before I don't see one could you please explain and again love'n it.
The maf is moved after the bov in my case after the intercooler and before the throttle body on the cold pipe.
Having driven both ways I decided to stick with blow-through because the car seems to idle better and such.
Some say you can damage a maf this way but I will believe it when I see it, 350z's run this way all the time.

with your setup? i'd suggest koyo, cuz its a good radiator, but i hear mishimoto is decent for the price. i'd just buy a koyo and protect your investment.

i got a two row aluminum radiator off of ebay, $145 dollars shipped, and it kept my temperatures steady on the dyno with 112degree ambient temps.
Dropped right in the mounts with no problems and i love it. Kind of like an ebay intercooler. Works 90% as efficient as name brand for 40% the cost.
Got it from ebay store oscarsradiators if anyone is interested.
Just run no bumber, Ultimate air flow. jk
I'll admit i'm jealous of your coupe if you show some more pics of the intake mani.
