thanks bro. Im a huge fan of outlaw drag racing, and I spend a lot of time on yellowbullet.com looking over setups. I know a lot of race car builders and have just been around it over the years. I actually spent a day with a guy named Mike Rees a few weeks back. He is a few years older than me and built an outlaw 10.5 camaro, and Troy Coughlins pro mod. Super cool guy, and I picked his brain all day for fabrication advice.

Other than that, it might sound stupid, but I just have a feel for what adding bars and gussets are going to do and how its going to affect the chassis. We will see how it performs :D

That car is dirty. I was looking at the amount of room i have, really quite limited, and was imagining a setup like yours (minus the firewall back lol). It allows you to setup your coolers anyway you want, which i really like. Cause it'd be nice to have short charge piping and room to stick my hands in front of the motor. Im going to hold off and just get everything running/get more experience welding first, but i definitely find it interesting. For some reason with cars i think years ahead, with school, minutes. lol. I know what you mean about envisioning chassis strength though. That's really cool you have the opportunity to be around **** like that.

Seeing that crappy HF Ram makes me cringe...hated that thing. It's fine if you are only doing a couple of bends, but way too much wasted time to do something real with it. The Pro-Tools dies aren't bad though.

You could've just purchased a Tube Tek for about the same price as what you have into the Got Trikes as well.

If you are going to bend relatively frequently, spend the money on a Baileigh. I love my RDB-125, but really want a 250.

yep! I cant wait to start on my new manifolds and start plumbing everything!

and veilside, my car is real, the tubular subframes I make for e30/s54 swaps are real, and the e30,evo8,galant vr4 and s13 I have on the books to cage are all real, and It bends just fine
Next thing on the agenda is a home. When I upgrade benders it will be to a mittler bros.

Lol. I don't even know who you are and haven't seen anything you do. I'm not really interested in your advice based off your opinions. My homemade bender makes nice bends and work fine for what I need to do. I'm not a fan of baleigh and just because you over payed for a bender doesn't mean my work cant be as good or better than whatever it is you do.

Looking good. Can't wait to see finished product. Can't wait to have the money to build my 240 after nursing school. I got too many ideas but haven't decided which ones to use haha

This is very true. I hate when people put a price on quality. Granted it is true sometimes and other times it gets busted. I love when it gets busted because you've spent less than the other person and got the same results but saved 50%.

Keep up the good work on both the car and ingenuity of tools.

Nice job on the wheels...what method did you use to keep from tearing the paint off the bolts? I know some use tape and other stuff but either way, it's still tedious at times....

I'm really tempted to snag that small Eastwood powdercoating kit myself...

Keep up the nice DIY craftsmanship!

thanks yo. I didnt have to use a 12pt on the bolts putting them together. they have 3 little dots on the flange side and it holds it on the wheel. I cranked on the nuts and the stud didnt spin. Iv had them apart before and put them together like this and they didnt loosen at all.

Hey Tiny, could you post up some better pictures of how you have your fuel cell in there? I know I saw you building a frame for it to sit on but really didnt see any good pics of it, and I will have to do close to the same for my setup.

Thanks man
