Love that you're going with an lq4 setup, been leaning that way myself for the past year or so but just can't make up my mind or seem to hold onto one car long enough to ever start anything lol. If you end up getting away from ka-t and move your build over to another forum be sure to come by here and leave us a link so we can all still follow your car. I've been following it from the beginning so I'd like to keep up with it til it's running 7's.
PS: I've understood your douchebagery from the beginning lol, glad to see I'm not the only one.

I dont have a build on the bullet yet, but soon. And I am tinyt on every forum. I will keep updating this thread dont yall worry.
sdaigle- I would do everything different haha. The problem with this situation is I had a STEEP learning curve. Went from not knowing how to tig to being able to do whatever I want with the car and learning from guys that build and run Troy Coughlin's pro mod. **** just got out of line in a hurry lol. I didnt know what I wanted to do with the car or how far I wanted to go. But all in all I am fine with it and it will be a great car to learn 4 link setups, turbo tuning, reading datalogs, etc
When the car seems to work ok I want to do Drag week and go to the texas mile with a 2:75 rear gear and go 220

You can see just in this thread the growth of your abilities in fabrication. We've seen what was at one time a really nice KA-T morph into one hell of a straight up no bullsh!t drag project.
Thanks for sticken around, and continuing to update.

most definitely. gonna be 2x3 3/16 wall rectangular tube. 12'x5'. 4 center 2x3 stringers. 16" tall with 6 legs. each leg will bolt to the ground with concrete anchors and im making each leg a turnbuckle with rh and lh 3/4 rod. laser level it and adjust each leg and it will be true as can be. weld the car to it and get the spot weld cutter and sawzall back out
I dont know if im more excited about building the table or the new chassis.

It is both. Building stuff in general is fun. But when it is for use and to complete a project, it makes it sweeter. I wish I had the tools and more knowledge to do this. Knowledge is readily available but the tools are another thing.
Keep up the good work.

Jessssus Tiny....thats straight up baller. I like now the rear of the engine and bell housing will meet at that plate you welded to the firewall. Maybe thats something that others have done in the past.....but its brilliant to me.
I like the HELLAJDMFLUSH rear wheels....but I still think you need a tad bit more camber to make it just right. Plus, you'd better be riding on a set of PBM coils and spindles or Zilvia will never let you post on their forum
P.S....your Dime stacked welds give me wood.

haha nah the sheetmetal is descent on this car and they dont make enough carbon to replace panels with it. my buddies outlaw camaro is half carbon and looks oem, well besides the 510 big block and 33x10.5w tirestom550 wrote:im just waiting to see the body get ripped off and a new body made and welded on or placed over.
Also if you would how much would you sell a tube bender like yours for?
I built the bender for about 350 and the dies cost roughly 250 a piece.
yaa they are descent, but for less I have a hydraulic bender on wheels. I dont like the idea of having to bolt the jd to the floor. my cage building service is mobile.Jackasknissan wrote:^ just buy a model 3 jd squared, works fantastic, and under 400...
