Post by wannaboost? »

So i dont really have a thread, but howdy yall im from Texas. I go to Mineral wells events every month and this will be updating thread for everyone as the tandem events roll by. Kinda got the idea from sleepys14 cause his stuff is always badass and i like to follow his page.We have this plague going around that you HAVE to have an sr to drift, so i take my little na ass out there to do tandem with the big boys.

Engine mods are BC cams and an autozone air filter..And catback

Lol i bet with no "crutch" its hard to keep up with people who are handicapped. None the less, i respect the skill it takes to slide a car with all weight transfers and clutch kicks, you have to plan your transitions so much more.

HAHA and yes you are exactly right, you have to pay so much more attention to the car because there is no being laazy. And you also have to take the PERFECT line just to make the entire course.

You gauges on top of the radio is very similar to mine. I used some aluminum that I got laying around the house and spray it with truck bed coating.

I have been curious about godspeeds products too. they make a good looking KA radiator with 2 12" fans. been considering getting one. You're lucky as hell you have a 240 man, the rear suspension on my 510 retails 650 shipped! just the coilovers too. car looks super rad sideways.

Thanks guys. And btw I just passed the 1year anniversary for having the godspeed coilovers on my car making it to an event EVERY MONTH! Plus the rough streets. As far as im concerned, they are as good as or better than megans. I cant really say ive driven any other but i love them!

But ya my interior piece broke and i needed a stereo kit and gauge pod so i made that

Damn, hell yea, sweet vid. Wish there was more outside shots and the music woulda been mixed with some sound, but i know how much harder it is to set someone up to film you and having to pick them up. Personally its way safer doin it like i believe you were doin it, just hitting up a spot, leave, hit up a spot, leave. etc. I get way sketched out when i stay in one place too long.

O ya. That place is a warehouse district and has NOONE around on sundays except their little patrol officer. In one clip that didnt make it i drifted right in front of the entry that hes coming out of but it was raining so hard and i guess he thought i lost control or something.. I left after that lol

Lol yea, i've had similar experiences tryin to slide in warehouse areas. Some places they catch on lol, one time i came in balls out, only to see a cop at the end of the rd hiding behind a bush lol. All he did was flash his lights and make the lil stereotypical whoop sound and i went on my way.

I think they have a lil bit more respect when you only endanger yourself. Never the less its effective, i dont go back there anymore lol. Hopefully when i get my car back tho i wont be doing that anymore. Maybe she'll finally run well enough to be safe on the track :?
