It's a place in Santa Ana.... I've used different places and this one seems to do the best work.

Got some sanding done to the valve cover and the AN fitting.

Apparently the machine shop lost a few of my oil pan bolts among other things.

Flywheel and clutch all bolted up.

It's the truck KA block (91-97 Hardbody). I went with the truck block because of the rear sump oil pan to clear the steering linkage and sway bar.

Turn the injectors over so the plug comes out the bottom.... a little more difficult to unplug but you can always get the quick connect plugs.. definately prettier if you're going through the trouble of doing the wire tuck.

I was thinking about running my brake lines and clutch line the same way you did yours. It looks super clean and it works. What size braided lines did you use?

Yeah man i wish I did what you did, but I was misinformed.

I used a 240 motor because i thought (only) they had a girdle and oil squirters.. I had to flip the sump around, and make a custom pickup etc etc.. all that work for a higher compression motor! i would much rather swap cams and the intake manifold on the truck motor!

Past few weeks I've been fixing **** on the truck... seems that everytime I drive it, there's something else to fix.

3 weeks ago the ebay gasket went out. So I reused the old one (holding good so far)

Image

Last week on my way back from the Fontana Nissan meet the lifters decided to tick all the damn time. So I finally fixed that too.

Image

What else is next?

SWEET SWEET build man! How did you go about fixing the ticking noise? My SOHC currently does this and its just annoying. I can hear the tick more than my exhaust, arghh.. please let me know, thank you!
