i plan on using a Q45 diff and rock the KA tranny out till it blows and most likely go wit a 300zx tranny

just hit a road bump though found 3 wrist pin retainer clips in my oil pan 3 days ago when i was gettin ready to weld on the oil bung and pulled the motor apart tonight and three of the cylinder walls have some nice grooves in them so now i gotta find another block :(

Crap deal with the retainer clips man, tough break, but build looks pretty impressive thus far. Sweet looking manifold in particular.
Just because I'm new to custom FI, doesn't mean I know nothing about cars.

Yes, I have had both blocks in my s14. They are exactly the same. Heads are the only difference.

I dont care what you make your header out of , you think it doesn't let heat in the engine?
The best quality headers I have owned still burn your fingers when you touch it so Im not sure what you think wrapping headers is for? But it is not to strengthen the header.

But arguing on the internet is like winning the special olympics,
even if you win your still retarded.

I LOVE YOUR BUILD!!! Super clean work area too, makes me smile all around. Do you know why the retainer clips came out? Also, I like your battery relocation method through the firewall!! I was wondering if it was worth it to make my own hole too!

i don't know if you are being sarcastic or not but the work area is soso haha i try to keep it as clean as possible! and yes i have assumptions as to why the retaining clips came out 1. being a beginners mistake 2 years ago when i decided to use the stock retaining clips instead of the double spiral because we couldn't get them into save our lives and i didn't think there would be a big deal considering there shoukldn't be a whole lot of lateral force on the wrist pin but apparently i was wrong2. being my roomate installed most of them and i don't know if he F-ed up on purpose to get back at me or he just sucks at life,,, 3, being i'm positive they all popped out within minutes of that engine running because it ticked for the past 6 thousand miles and it was actually wrist pin slap which believe it or not out of tons of people who heard the tick and voiced there opinions only one ever said it was wrist pin slap and that one person Ivan from AMS cause i used to live like 15 minutes from there...

and ya i fabbed the plates for both the terminal block and the one going through the firewall and the one on the firewall just uses the stock A/C holes and it covers them up and makes good used of the holes since i don't plan on installing my A/C again
