For those who are interested, the wally did the trick. I am able to make a full rpm sweep in 3rd and 4th with no hiccups. Boost regulated back down to 20 psi. Now to connect my boost controller and turn up to 30 psi in the next few weeks. Let me enjoy 20 psi for now.

I'm at 20psi wastegate spring. His setup should be around 350whp. So in a 2200 lb car, he should be low 12/high 11. Were pretty close. He jumped on me but 2nd gear pulls I need to brake boost. But 3rd or 60 mph rolls, I kill. I actually let off and got back on it cuz I didnt know he pulled. If I kept it full throttle, been easy 3 car lengths. If I turn up boost, no question about it.

S13 weigh 2600lbs so your 400lbs heavier which is 4 tenths but you have over 150whp. Either he was boosting more than 12psi or your not making 500+ cuz in 4th gear you should have really passed him. At 14psi with my 6265 I was at 440whp.I raced a civic hatch with a b18 t3/t4 12psi he also jumped on me while I was spinning he was at least 3 cars on me once I got into 4th I easily passed him. That car ran 13 2 @ 115

Yea...he is claiming 12psi. It really doesn't matter cuz he ran a 5.0 that ran 12.5 and ran a 4 door eg on spray which ran 11.9. I am just happy I was able to run and not break. When we go into 4th, they go into 5th and we run them.

Running 11 sec on 12psi is hard to believe. I know a few civics with b18s that need 30+psi 600whp just to get into 10s. Remember there might but they also launch slow 1.8 is what they usually do that's why they trap 150+ in a 10 sec run

Awesome to see you sticking with this build. I got mine running last spring and decided I wanted to change the charge piping/IC setup and have been slacking on getting it together. Looking for motivation, and its nice to see there is still interest in this motor.

Got some work done today. Installed new pads and z32 slotted rotors with my j30 brakes. I also installed the legacy side skirts. I have them dipped in black but they will look better gloss black. It will be awhile before I paint those. Last night I hooked back up my boost controller so now it is just a matter me going out and tuning. I just want to change my oil and be ready for this weekend.

Nothing much to report on except I got two ski's to play with. There older yamaha's but I got a great deal through a friend. Been messing with that. Got a tow hitch yesterday for $40 to throw on my altima. I went out Monday on the wave raider and it flung me off the ski 3 times. It is no joke when the ass kicks out.

Car related, I started to fix the boost controller settings. I was able to go 3/4 of an rpm sweep in 2nd without boost cut coming on. I had to swap the close and open duty cycle values on the megasquirt. Once I get that zoned in, I should be running pretty good. I have boost cut at 33lbs and it is awesome to see the boost gauge go past 30psi and even more of a relief being able to drive her home easy with no issues. Timing is good and afr's are good but I hit the rev limit too fast. I need to get use to this car again.

so now that you are at the 30psi range, have you thought about just switching to the internally gated hx turbos? Thought I remember their internal wastegates being set at 30psi.

2012 5.0 auto. Supposedly stock with K&N air filter. He ran 12.5 at track. First two runs were 20mph and in 1st gear. First run, I hit rev limiter and it cuts out until it drops back to safe rev's. Second run, stang got the hit. From a dig, different story. I need to start break boosting and do runs from 40mph.

Yes, you can disable soft rev limit. As for power, who knows. Since I am on 3.9 gears compared to 4.10, this is the only thing on my side that is hindering me but I do not want high ratio for the street.

Yea I wouldn't want to go anything taller than 3.9 on stock trans for the streets. I run a 3.69 and its not horrible but I can cruise in 3rd everywhere
