I've been wondering about this myself. I don't have my personal computer in front of me but if the AFR1 table does indeed control AFRs when in VE3 table, than wouldn't a log show GEGO change while in VE3 table?

I enabled it and it seems to get consistent fuel whether at night vs the day. So from experience, I would say yes but it could be a fluke.

So a couple things to share.

Was playing with an Audi S4. There run low 13's stock so it wasn't a good race.
https://youtu.be/u9JkfSIG-LI

I also was driving home last night and was messing around.
https://youtu.be/f7Pr0z2RzRg

Picked up an 06 G35 6 Speed Tranny from my friend. If the z32 goes, then drop this is in. If the KA goes, then get a VQ.

Yea, I was laughing when I watched back the video. Dude was speeding with me.

Speed density is nice. MAF is more precise but too many quirks with it especially if draw through.

What will it take to swap that g35 tranny in with your current setup?

And when you say you "enabled it" what exactly do you mean and how do you get to that option?

Just an adapter plate. Or I can mod mine.

Before I only had EGO control active to 100kPa. I increased it to 350kPa. Click Fuel --> EGO Control.

Did a 3rd gear pull just now. The pull ran clean and pulled hard.

Before I left to DR, the car was breaking up on high boost. I forgot I needed to gap down the plugs. I gapped them down to .018 cuz I want to turn up the boost to 35psi.

Pretty sure some of the glorias were red vq30det.
But probably easier to source a vq35de then turbo.

The most abundant VQ30 in the junk is a Maxima motor. I would never run an imported motor just becuase if I lost a crucial part that was only JDM, I would be scarred. I hate when I can't take my baby for a cruise and beat up the p€$$¥!

As soon as I raised the max kPA for EGO control, my AFR's in boost got even better, so thanks for that. It's so much fun learning MS. And good stuff with the Challenger. Was it an SRT8?

Good stuff! I really enjoy this MS.

As for the car, it had R/T badges. We didn't stop to talk. They run 13.7's so it wasn't a good run. I am looking for GT500 to see what's up.

Honestly, I am getting bored with the car. I haven't had to do anything to her in awhile. I need to put mani on and see how it performs. That will spark some fun again. I also need to hit the track as well.

I had an oh ****!t moment this AM. Ended up taking the car to work. I was trying to run this one guy who lives in my complex with a hemi. The car is modified slightly but I just wanted to see how I do in low boost. Sadly, he never pulled up next to me so I got frustrated. At the next light, I take off in low boost, I am running through gears. Around 100mph in 4th gear, the car started to slide out to the left. I simply let got of the throttle, straightened up and relaxed after that. The street was moist from sprinklers in the median. I have had the car kick out on me at high speeds but usually it just spins and wiggles slightly. This time, it shot me the left lane about have a width of my car. If someone was next to me, it wouldn't be nice.

Well I haven't touched the car mechanically in awhile. Ended up fixing my HID driverside low beam. Ended up being a coroded connector. Fixed. Then I took my rear window sprayer hose and routed to front of my ic for a cooling effect on IAT's. Just waiting for a nozzle to come in mail then test its effectiveness. That's all I got besides getting scuba certified.

Thanks Adam. Yea she has been treating me good. When tuned right, no horror stories. She has been assembled for 4.5 years now and with decent power. I may have not bought all expensive parts but it seems to work for me without breaking the bank.

I also got my center caps done.

I like the emblem. Coincidentally, this is what the front of my 3D printer enclosure looks like:

It's kind of funny how no matter how fast you make a car... eventually, it will seem boring to you. I can't imagine getting bored with 450+ whp, but I'm sure it will happen. I'm beyond tired with my paltry 265 whp. It's turbo time! :auto-layrubber:

Yea, the Punisher icon is pretty cool. As for cars, yea you get use to them but sometimes you do something and it reminds you of the power you have. I drove the car to work this morning. I was making a left hand turn and some guy started to drift into my lane. I was about 80% done with the turn when I floored it in 2nd to get away and the car started to kick out from underneath me. It felt good like yea, the power is still there. The ecu is keeping the car interesting. Just found out another feature on MS, coolant based rev limiter. I plan to set at 205* the car will hit a limiter at 3k. This will be my indicator that I am running hot and something is up. My fans turn on at 185* and shoot back down to 175* pretty quick. After hard pulls, I can see about 195* temps. I never seen anything over 200* and plan to keep it like that.

Here are some vids I forgot to post here.
