Yea, I know what you mean. I am not worried about it. I will change the HG when I get my injectors. At least I can enjoy her for the time being.
Well, I did some work when I got home from work. Installed mani, changed oil feed line, changed oil/filter, and a mini wire tuck.
Looks a little cleaner so I am happy. I just need to remove some other relays I had for the coils and e-fan and it will be much cleaner.

Nothing to report but I am tired of the car at 10lbs. I miss my 20lbs. After xmas and bills are caught up, I am going to buy some new injectors, a new manifold, and do a new 3 inch down pipe. Now that I have meat on my back tires and a stout tranny, I can get serious about my two step/flat launch and push for better times. I may have an issue with my HG but I can't confirm until after I get back to +20psi runs. 2013 will be fun.

Yup. I was on track for good boost but loss my inline pump and my profec b sticking. I can buy the diy boost solenoid now but I do not want to be tempted with these 1000cc injectors and blow something. I was on track to get my high 11 time slip but a couple things happened both with the car and life. If bills were not in the way, I would have gotten my slip about 10 months ago.

Was playing with my 2 step today. Having issues when it is engaged but I am able to build 6psi on a 10psi WG spring. I still have to play with settings but if I can build 10psi, I will be happy. I will have the video up tomorrow. My daughter did not want to ride in my car cause she said it is loud and there is fire in the back of the car. LOL. What a drama queen!

Love the wheels man, do you remember your rear wheel specs by chance? My next set of wheels I would like to fit at least a 275 in the rear also.

Cheap $89 eBay cast manifold. I will be switching to an equal length as soon as I make some money.

Yea, my brother is a jokester.
FlatBlack wrote:I've got an IAP but I've heard ALS/LC is hard on the tubed manis?
It is hard on turbine and manifold. But it is the EGT's that hurt and tubular manifolds crack faster than cast. So I am going to advance the timing so some of the fuel is burnt a little before hitting the manifold/turbine. I am trying to be responsible with this. I fixed my issue with it arming so now it works flawlessly. Just coming into my neighborhood, some lady cut me off at the gate. I 2 stepped and she was looking around like WTH. I guess my fireballs were saying, watch the fcuk what you are doing!

I love 2 step vids. So, exactly how hard it it on the manifold and turbine? I wonder what would fail if you just kept running 2 step? Cracked manifold? Broken turbine wheel?

What are you planning on doing hitting the LC at every stop light? ^ I've had mine setup for a few years now and the turbo is still in great shape. I had a cheap tubular T2 manifold and it cracked but I blame that on just being old and through so many dang heat cycles.

2012 - S14 KA, Nismotronic, GTi-R T28 12psi, Meth, PSM HMIC, DW550cc, N62, S15 HLSD, Spec 3, Fidanza = 12.4 @ 110

I am not sure but prolonged use could be damaging or wear parts faster. Cracked mani or turbine damage.

Thanks for the reassurance. I have not fully tested it with take off and flat shift but I hope so soon.

So after some stagnant days, I finally got some 1600cc injectors. After I install, I will be selling my 1000cc's. Then hopefully I can get a new manifold. Finally some progress. I am also going to order a DIY boost solenoid tonight to help aid in my conquest!

Went out to the meet tonight. Met some cats I know with a KA. We played a little and he said my ish is quick. I am only running 10psi. We ended up going to a location to see a race but they finished. I ended up doing some tuning and getting a log.
We then went back to the spot and I met some other cats I know. One of their friends had a scion xb boosted. It was a nice setup. We ended up following some whips to see a race. This Mazda Speed ran two z32's. I was following a 370z with bolt ons. So they pull to the side and I passed them to go home. Well the 370z started to get next to me. I rode in 2nd and he punched it. I then punched and was in front by half a car. Then by end of 3rd it was 1.5 cars. I ran for until 120 and backed off. Perfect way to end a night if you ask me.
Here is my latest VD run @ 10psi. I doubt it is right cause even though air temps were around 55* tonight, my MAT's were around 80* and 360whp is high for 10psi unless I got some creep. Then I will say it is correct.

I do it for fun and people give me weird looks and think my sh*t is broken, but i drive a stock looking hardbody lol
Supa, do you have an emusa style cast? Im about to install one with a t4 in place of my t3/t4 JGS, figure it should flow better than the JGS

Yes, I have that installed right now. I am looking to get the cx racing equal length manifold which puts the flange at the same location so my HX35 does not hit my bmc. No issues with it. Had it installed coming up to a year in March.

Got my pissers in today. DIY should be here by 12pm. Now, I have to verify if my HG or intake coolant port is leaking, fix then get to 25psi.

i wonder what options there are to deal with the coolant port on the intake giving trouble, think the composite plastic gaskets would be worth it for the intake in that case?

I actually had one of those gaskets, and chose not to use it. Mainly because I am unfamiliar with them. Interested to hear your alls thoughts on that.
