OMG WHEN WHEN WILL IT END!!!!
got my new cams in and they were packaged great looked even better and so i torn into the motor got everything torqued down no problems with anything go to start her up and bam she fired right up and about 30 seconds go by and i smell gas BAD.......number one injector has a crack in it. WTF but she runs and everything is copestetic and running smooth. with these cams and new head she is breathing great idles super smooth and quiet cant wait to get a new injector in and fine tune her :twisted:

well i finally got her dialed in and shes running good i also have some new motor mounts in also. Import face-off is this sunday we will she how she does. tomorrow ill have my new camber arms in and i bought a 330mm steering wheel too ill post pis when i get back from Texas any ways her some pics

did some relocating i took the driverside fuse box and mounted it out of the way and remounted the coil pack closer to the core support

moved the PS resivor
put the new control arms on
installed a new steering wheel
cleaned the interior

Have you ever thought about moving the batter to the side where the air filter is, or if you are going turbo, relocate it to the trunk. And moving the intake to where the battery is? That way the intake wont pass in front of the hot engine.

What springs are you running?

yea ill move the battery to the trunk when ever i boost it and yeah you would be surprised how hot the intake gets.

and i think there 1 inch drop bosch springs or something like that on kyb's struts

those old arms are perfectly good. get some replacement heims like discussed in the other thread and sell them. will cost you less than 20$ what scared you into buying new ones?

I had already ordered in new arms bc I couldnt find a place to buy just the mount piece by themselves :/ if you look close it was so worn out from bouncing back and forth it was just getting dangerous to drive on that's why I was in such a rush to get it fixed.

test fitting the new dash before i finish it also ran the copper line for the oil pressure gauge

No turbo. Remote mount stage 5 ported m90 supercharger with fmic squirt 2

how do you remote mount a supercharger? aren't they belt driven?

Either way I can't wait to see another KA24DER, I tried going that route a while back with a m62.

supercharger's home is suppose to be bolted right to an IC and then the intake. when you remote mount it its just anywhere thats not directly to the intake. instead of the m62 kit im going to fab my own mounts on the exhaust side and run a FMIC. this vid sucks ass and the supercharger is junk so it sounds horrible but you get the idea
