finally made a vid of the exhaust....this is what a bored and camed straight exhaust with header sounds like lol the BC 264s made it sound way deeper.

Too 'pingy' for my taste. I like the Blitz Nur Spec sound.

just youtubed it and yea your right good hear sounds damn close it make it better my whole setup from header back only cost about 300 bucks

When he goes boost, it will quiet it down plenty. She breathes good and the turbo spool will show that.

yea the 264s lope quiet a bit but dont have to fight it to keep it going and the power band is crazy compared to oem setup...i have a vid i need to upload of me getting on the highway but i have **** ie. so it takes forever soon enough tho

I really like the sound of your set up. My dad is like die hard old school muscle and he heard it and he said "that 4 cylinder sounds mean". Good work man.

just got a new head and its off the the machine shop to have it resurfaced and also just bought some supertech valve stem seals that are going in it. also having my new valves matched to it....pics soon to come!

head came in yesterday and last night i pulled everything. it was extremely clean and the rings are seated so no need to change them the new head and everything is going back on and will be done tonight.

well guys i got everything running and she ran so damn good and then....failure doing the 3 angle job and grinding the seat and valve down let them rise a bit higher and the cam im guessing didnt let the valve shut and seal all the way and i burnt a valve up so. i dropped the head back off to the machine shop and im having it fixed. but im posting up some pics for you guys to check out.

here is the stud spec. and i assure you it wasnt just something i threw in my motor i sat for awhile with a good friend of mine taking measurements just to get this special order in. the swap was about 60 bucks total with studs and nuts.

With studs, I always thought that you had to align hone because the torque application could deform the journAl. are you sure that you're not deforming the cam journals?

Ppl swap mains with studs and that's also is a journal... Am I positive absolutely not but I did put a couple hundred miles on the motor and within the mileage I put a run down the track and she ran fine.and I don't think it would hurt bc its the same size back in so it shouldn't change a thing accept a little bit stronger torque and safer application imo
