Anytime. Honda tech has some useful stuff occasionally lol.

Have you ever had problems with paint peeling off of the bay from the evacuated crankcase air out of the catch can? Maybe this is some queer BS heersay, which for some reason is plentiful on the subject of e85, but i've seen reports of it strippin paint even just from being next to the vent filter. That's originally why i looked into pcv into exhaust. Aint tryna paint a bay and have it peel.
It's always broken.

I have noticed a little bit of oil mist on everything around the catch can from time to time, but haven't had any paint come off. I've only put a couple thousand miles on the car since putting the built motor in though. I'll definitely keep an eye on it. I guess if it becomes an issue, you could always run a rubber hose down to the bottom of the bay somewhere and just put a filter on the end of it.

Sorry for straying off topic, ked.

Any updates?

Lmao, so on the old setup you made 8xx hp on the smaller wrist pins and 10mm head studs?

Oooh, are these pistons I have of yours those pistons? :D lol

I'm trying to understand the dynamics of how a downpipe could pull vacuum. I could understand if it's through a venturi or some sort of special bung though.

Yay I feel special :D

And okay cool that makes sense. So to everyone, this may not work for you if you just drill a hole in your downpipe and weld on a bung FYI.

So what was needed for the block to accept 12mm head studs? You just drilled tapped and in they went? What about the oil passages? I badly want to finish my build and this is all that's standing between me and finishing.

^that was answered in your other thread. GO to your machine shop. They have tools to do this.

ps, you probably don't need 12mm. If you keep blowing head gaskets, you need a 'mirror finish' between your head and block. Not different studs. Cheers.
