I hate when people dont treat their cars like whores. No fun.

Best to do it when you have one in the passenger seat though LOL

I overheard 'whores' and 'titties' so I joined the conversation

edit: wait a minute, you have a similar setup, post fuel map so I can copy and paste to my AEM when I get it. Would be nice to have a starting point in a similar area.

well i'm running an emance tuned ecu (waits for haters) so i have no idea how to look at that stuff. going pnp ms2 oneday though. i guess i'm one of emance's success stories. been doing business with them for at least 5 years running flawlessly always.

Car looks good. Did you go 11.65 on this engine?

BTW - I'm running a full MS2E ECU and it was really easy to wire up. Might even be easier to do than a PNP.

Ok so you are the guy that fed the turbo from the block. Feeding from drivers side, returning....where?

(i'm also guessing you have no heater anymore)

yep thats me, you are correct. no heater no tstat, no extra coolant line to worry about. i used copper refridgerator lines from home depot and heater hose with worm clamps

Do you figure the coolant from the side of the block is colder or hotter then where it tees off at the throttle body, upper intake area?

Reason I ask is I've been thinking of feeding the coolant from the same location, but then sending it back to the heater, and then to the back of the T-stat.

would like a bunch more pictures of your intake and how you have everything plumbed :)

I was also thinking of using that space around the intake to mount my LS1 coils. Kinda stealthy and out of the way, once I get all that other junk out of there. ...but it could prove to be a nightmare to work with if I had to troubleshoot them later.

so even with hair spray the coupler keeps coming off the mafs. my solution........i used some gorilla glue to see if that holds. hopefully i can really get on her now without fear of blowing the coupler off.

LOL, the new trend is to abandon the KA and get a LSX.

What version motor is that??

I keep having this horrible idea to grab a LS motor and a shell. I keep seeing shells pop up and LS motors at my local yards.

well here i am to update whats going on in my world.

picked up an lm7 block
Image
it was filthy to say the least but for $300 i was ok with it. i planned on fully disassembling it when i opened the valve covers and saw the gunk. then i pulled the heads off and saw that the cylinders aside from normal carbon build up looked great. i could still see the cross hatchings

decided to clean and paint the valve covers and front cover
Image

after that i picked up a ton of parts for it
wp and ps
Image
ls1 int mani
Image
alty and crank pulley
Image
ls1 vc and coils
Image

also pick up an lt1 t56 for free. it is disassembled so i have to get it put back together. it also has a blown 3rd gear so i need to get some parts to rebuild it first. all in all its coming together nicely. dont have pics yet but i have mounts, modded subframe, gto oil pan, driveshaft and a nice healthy cam for it.

thats an awesome find on the tranny...honestly, the t56 is the most expsensive part of any LS swap. I'm tyring to piece one together for my 88 s10 dd, and the 4.8L LS1 is going to run under $400, the mouounts are $70, the harness is $200, but a good condition t56 hovers around $800-1000...WTF.

Cant wait to see your 240 with some v8 power.

What all are you doing to the LT1 tranny besides swapping input shafts?

I like where this is going. I figure someday I'll do an LM7 for bewst or aluminum truck block swap [L92?].
