Re: Super coupe's log
Yay I can post in my thread again.
LOL long time no talk fellas. Ive browsed around and have seen a lot of familar names still posting, which is awesome. I myself took a short break from cars and toys. Eventually I found myself back in a Mustang. Got the mod bug and well ya........ heres where I am at
Mods:
Id1000s
Aeromotive FPR -6 fittings and lines
NGK 6510's gapped @ .29
Mcleod RST Clutch w/ lightened steel flywheel w/arp bolts
67mm turbos
Shaftmasters 1 piece aluminum ds
ATI Harmonic Balancer w/ ARP balancer bolt
Strange shocks
MSD 2 step
Welded Axle Tubes
Shaftmasters 1 piece aluminum driveshaft
Eibach Sportlines
BMR lightweight radiator support
BMR LCA's
BMR UCA and Mount
BMR relocation brackets
Lethal X pipe
15x10 and 15x4" sve drag wheels gloss black
20x11 and 20x9 ForgeStar f14s
08' v6 rotors and caliper brakcets to fit 15" front wheels steeda sway bar relocation brackets to fit 15" rears
28x12.50 Hoosier QTP's out back 27" Hoosier Bias plys up front
Custom stock rail converted to a return style fuel system with two 465 e85 compatible pumps in a custom/oem hat assembly w/custom harness to run the pumps
Hallman Pro MBC will be switching to an EBC shortly
VMS vacuum block
Custom 3.5" MAF charge pipe for better MAF resolution
Stainless clutch line with dot 4 Fluid
White line trans bushing w/ poly shifter bushing.
Battery relocated to trunk
Custom catch can
There is more but that's all I can think of for now.
Fitting I made to feed my vacuum block since this was the port left open on the throttle body from using a catch can now. Basically cut off factory tip and tapped it for a fitting.
Dyno= big roller dyno jet 248x ( very accurate, not a happy dyno by any stretch) Car was also on heavy 20" wheels
14* timing .77 lamda on e85 = very conservative
Car made:
640@ 6psi (maybe it was 656 not sure phone was dead no pic for reference)
700@ 7 psi
Car also made this @ 8 psi:
Here is a small Dyno video, sorry for the quality it was taken by my buddy with his android LOL.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1qFRcJ-gNO4
There is a lot left on the table in the tune, could have made much more power if my tuner leaned the tune out slightly and added more timing (low for e85).Thought about turning it up to 10 psi, should make over 800 LOL but at that point the rods are a ticking time bomb IMO.I want this to be on the safe side to help it last until I can get the bottom end done, so it will probably stay at 6 psi for now, although I am itching for 20+psi.
Future plans:
Built bottom
Coating hot side piping and exhaust housings
Auto swap
Boost is a hell of a drug.

Thanks, it was a lot of hard work. Obviously us KA guys like to tinker, I did everything myself top to bottom minus the custom catch can and bungs welded.
I fixed the video, for whatever reason it was not working. Turn your speakers up LOL.
Even on low low 6psi boost, its ridiculous. Only word to describe it. v8, high compression, e85, two turbos = Big Smiles lmfao
Re: Super coupe's log
That is what I am talking about. I want to run a VQ in my car when KA goes. I enjoy tinkering with stuff. I will be working on cars with my son when we are older.

I need a son LOL daughter loves the Mustang besides how loud it is (dumps after x pipe).
I doubt she will be wrenching on cars when she is older, very girly lol.

Good stuff. I wish I could push my son thru the next 2 years of school. he's getting a stang for his bday this year. I told him the day he walks across the stage, Im getting me a new stang to play with. I have a buddy that welds but I'll be in school this year myself. I wanna mig and tig so I can do my own exhaust and save money.

Re: Super coupe's log
Some how, some way, I have yet another 240. Not sure what number this is, but a lot. I for sure over paid for this one, but it's a two owner car that never left Orlando Florida since purchase. Basically everything on the car aside from the rims is as it came from the factory. This thing is mint mint inside and out. So, I didn't really feel too bad about over paying since I know nicer ones are hard to find these days.
Unfortunately, she is getting a 2jz this time around. KA will be for sale soon. Has new inning gear, stem seals, water pump, thermostat.115k miles automatic.
I will post more picture when I get a chance.

Re: Super coupe's log
Anyone know what a clean s14 KA goes for with all accessories goes for?
Re: Super coupe's log
Congrats on the latest S14.
In terms of the KA, it depends on where you are. SR's in my region go for no less than 900 (may be blown) and I can't find a KA to save my life. But few people might want the KA, so you might not get it's true value.
