hpipro4 S13 KA24DE-T Build

Post by hpipro4 »

been lurking around the forum but never really posted nor created a thread until now. im mostly on zilvia but i figured id post my build thread here too!

my 1st car.... my 1st build. all works done by me with my own bare hands and lotza sweat & hardwork! started back in 2008 and my build has been ongoing.....

car is a 92 s13 salvaged title lol bought off a chick that drifted it. cost me 2600 which i now realized i overpaid for it! needed new tires and a/c compressor was hanging. brown interiors with welded diff lol

1st day i got the car.....
Image
Image

didnt know a thing about s13 till i actually went out in the garage and got dirty lol

got bored one day and decided i was going to make the bay look tucked! so there i went....

started with engine harness...
Image
Image
Image
Image

after engine harness was done i decided to re-locate battery, and fuse/relay boxes to the inside....

also installed few electronics.......

August 2009 the car was up and running....

September 2010 went all out.....

stance LX+ luv em!

suspension techniques sways

my clutch went out so i went with all this

jdm visor

rps13 kouki center overlay

January 2011 decided to go ka-t

scored a ka-t stuff locally and decided to take out dash again and re-wire/relocate where my gauges will go...decided that im going to ditch center vent and creat my own triple gauge pod using fiberglass stay tuned...

moved some of the relays to the top so their not showing underneath glovebox.

i g0t very creative and modded my toplite that i never use and manage to fit my greddy mss(use as fan controller) in there w/o doing anything to much just using dremel w/cut off wheels and viola!!!!!i think it turn out perdy cool. wat ya think?

May of 2011 my finished KA-T
t25, n60 blow thru, 370cc, rs-enthalpy rom tune, isis fmic, pbm cobra dp, 255lph walbro, areomotive fpr....

so i decided to retrofit another h4 housing with morimoto d2s bi-xenon projectors.

Jan 2012......
decided to cover the entire interior with sound deadening material i got from ebay called fatmat. same stuff as the dynamat but less expensive. while im at it, going to laydown a new blk carpet frm stockinteriors.com cheaper if you bid on their ebay store. while gutting the interiors, some of my wirings were on the way so im re-wirings things around....enjoi

tear down....

ya! ill be running optima d51r yellow top aka honda battery lol

fatmat 50mil

this my old fuse panels....no problems but i needed more stuff to fused..

mock up of the new fuse panels.....got a bigger fuse block n midi holder(replaces the 75amp fusible links)

the current and finished relays

re-did brown interior into blk carpet

greddy ti-c 80mm catback

resonator sat really low and hits my swaybar.....

decided to buy myself an everlast pt185 micro tig welder...never tig bfore so bare with me!

was tired of the resonator scraping everywhere so i decided to make just 3" 304 ss straight pipe. my 1st time tig welding stainless so it look like crap but will work for now. i did back purged.

also tig my own coolant overflow tank and powdercoated wrinkle blk

also bought an eastwood powdercoater & harbor freight blast cabinet....luv em both!

some examples what it can do.......

man i hate having to smog the damn car every 2yrs! forgot to swap out aeromotive fpr & 255lph....**** was running rich!

carb legal KA lol

only drove 235miles in 2yrs!!!!!then out came the engine.

Definitely one of the best builds I have seen so far. This represents what can and should be done with proper amount of time and space.

bride doesnt sell em pre-made. they do however sell the fabric and you change it out. yes all the relays are inside behind the glove box. unlike most people they hide their fuse/relay boxes on the fender wells. i re-did the chassis wires too.

How hard was all that thing, how many hours? I did a re-wire to my ecu wiring because it was an auto trans car, Ive installed a manual and bought a megasquirtpnp, so I deleted all the unnecesary wires, looks very neat but is not enought with those relay and fuses boxes around the engine bay

Fantastic wiring job man. I've been wanting to do this to my car for a long time now.
Wiseco/Eagle, JWT S1 cams, BC valve springs, PT5857, ID1700 injectors, SR20DET ECU w/ Nismotronic, COP conversion with LS ignition coils, etc, etc...

spent countless hrs on it cant even remember how many lol....just getting all the wires out was alot work. i disconneted that big ol connector on the driverside and cut label wires there. then pulled out all the wires frm outide. had to extend some wires for it to reach to the pssenger side. ya took out alot of unecesary wires too.
