Standard mani for the largo :-) our intake comes around the back of the head over the tranny due to space under the seats.
The largo runs a 300zx tranny as standard too ;-)

Engine is under the seats, tried a xtreme mani and it was about 5" to high. Couldn't put the engine cover and seats back in.

I like how the intake is a equal length with no plenum. I wonder how efficient that is compared to the plenum type we have?

Can you take a picture of the engine bay, relative to the car?

I'm having a tough time seeing where the engine is situated in the car, even though you explained it.

That intake manifold is very unique for the ka. first time i've seen it. what year is the car?

how was your powerband before turbo?

looking @ the head, it looks like you run a FWD head. Is the car fwd or rwd?

Imagine yourself sat on the turbo, thats the exactly where the engine is :-) I have thousands more pictures I wil try to give you a visual representation.
I tried the greddy TD06 complete turbo kit when I had the idea of putting together a Largo turbo, ended up using only the fuel rail :-/

Everything is bespoke from the exhaust mani onwards, the standard Hp was 150 with good torque. Needed the torque to move the 1.8 ton, it is booked in @ Advanced motorsport and engineering 1st November and hopefully see some good figures, will post up the dyno results asap.

It runs a Fwd engine setup with Rwd, the inlet mani can only be found in the Nissan Largo. I have investigated all the ka engines and the altima head is similar but not the same. Neither of the 13 or 14 variations are the same, you run the distributor off the front of the cam.
I run of the rear @ 15 degrees base timing.

photobucket is making me angry also as I try to get into your private gallery lol

Where are you located in the UK?

So your alternator is mounted right in front of the turbo? or is it on the other side? I see what looks like an A/C bracket.

Very interesting head design. It's like the altima's, except your upper coolant filler neck position is totally different.

The alternator is mounted on the inlet side, Air con is no longer there. thats where the turbo is now. There is a coolant filler unit on the engine and on the Radiator.
I am in the South West area, not very close to many tuning companies able to map AEM

Guess thats why im selling my other set of forgies stateside :D

I'm curious to see how your turbo setup will run without a plenum.

This is like, the most insane and ridiculous engine fitment and it's AMAZING what you've managed to do with such an awkward space.

Very appreciative of your efforts!

You think not having a plenum will cause problems ??? Surely equal length intake from the 60mm throttle body will let it breath ok. Equal length works well to release gasses so maybe it could be the same theory inward :-/

Hoping it all turns out ok with that intake, if not then I will chop and weld on a plenum chamber etc
