I'm posting a build thread because I want to be held accountable for my actions and get feedback on my setup and show other people that it's not always hard it just takes time, patience and money!
Auto DD -
Stock rebuild:
clevit bearings, felpro full gasket kit, reconditioned head, OSK timing, New gates WP , aftermarket oil pump, Standard rings and emmisions removed intake including EGR and PCV. Tig welded locally.
Reason for rebuild:
valve seals were leaking causing the engine to smoke and when I took the engine apart I noticed one of my bearings had a chunk missing out of it and was using oil to compensate for lost material.
Manual DD/Track
Performance rebuild:
Clevit bearings, felpro full gasket kit, Brian Crower Stage 3 cams with springs/ clearanced head, OSK timing, New WP, OEM nissan Oil pump, Wiseco .40 over forged, ARP main rod and head studs, Eagle rods, Xcessive intake manifold with IACV plate and stud kit, Xcessive oil pan adapter and ISIS Sr20 sump, ATI Crank, magnecore wires.
Turbo:
Greddy manifold, TD06-20G and greddy downpipe.
Reason for rebuild:
Generic cheap timing chain kit had a plastic piece break at the track and clog my oil sump tube and drop my oil pressure to bring the your engine is F****** light on. The engine was a stock rebuild at that time purchased from Japanese import spec out of Texas.
