Rosado racing new build!!! 2/17/15

Post by RosadoRacing »

Purchased a 1992 240sx SE coupe with 50,080 miles for $2000. Comes with power sunroof, power windows, digital dash pretty much the expensive model. Going to swap everything in my hatch over to the coupe. I also found a r33 gtr rear in mint condition. 32 spline axles and 4.11 2 way clutch lsd.

I betcha the TT z32 is the same axle. R230's are 6 bolt. I have one in my possession as well.

Damn that's badass I love the coupe model of those years because everyone says they are A Lot lighter than s14s.

I didn't know that diff worked on the S13 subframe I always thought it was just hearsay .

Good luck .... 240sx diff swaps are mad annoying to say the least.

Some say the s14 subframe is better for drag racing and overall better and it fits the s13 easily ...if someone knows if it's true or worth it chime in.

Also if a car is lighter isn't it harder to hold traction?

Supakat your correct they are the same and is what everybody uses when doing the q45 Swap. Z32 tt axles are exTremely rare as is the r33 gtr rear that I have. I looked and called every where for a z32 tt axle to use with my 30 spline j30t lsd never found one. But I'm glad I have the Gtr rear it's a mechanical clutch lsd so both wheels will always turn. And the 4.11 gear should be perfect when revving my Motor to 8000 I fourth I'll see 155mph traps!

Torquefreak the motor already made 721whp 552tq 27psi with a s366. I'm changing over to a series 2 aem ems and running the same tune with a few MinOr changes k series coils and bigger fuel lines

Torquefreak technically I will have a new motor cuz I have to rebuild it due to spinning a bearing. Might upgrade the rods and if I do than I can run 35psi. I'm def going to use rb26 studs so a few upgrades will be in affect.

How are you going to get k series coil packs to work on a sohc..? I thought the spark plugs were right over the exhaust manifold on those motors.

The diff should fit to the subframe. Just swap the rear diff cover for the s13 one. SPL has a solid bushing conversion for the front two bolt holes. I have a q45 diff in an s13 and it should be the same deal.
